At 1605 Hours, Co 70 and 25 (Exeter Twp.) were dispatched to I176 northbound at the 422 westbound ramp for a reported working car fire.  Chief 70 (L. Hoffert) went enroute and was advised of fire police on location reporting a full involved vehicle.  Engine/Tanker 70 with a crew of 3 went enroute and a 2nd additional reported the fire was extinguished with multiple fire extinguishers.  Chief 70 advised to hold 25 at station and let E/T70 respond into the scene to confirm.  E/T 70 and Chief 70 arrived to find a SUV to the side of the road with a minimal amount of smoke coming from the hood.  Crew investigated a fire in the passenger side dash area. Crews removed parts of the dash to extinguish a small fire still burning.  Crews used a PW to extinguish the remainder of the fire.  Chief 70 advised the fire was under control and Co. 25 could be recalled.  70 units remained on scene until released bu Cumru PD.
